My Poetry

My Poetry

Wildflowers

We’ve been waiting for you,
Calling out to you from within
Because we know your life shares
Our uncommon purpose…
To be free,
To bloom where we choose
And share our multi-colored beauty
With the world;
Forming natural boundaries and space
Without the threat of fences keeping us
In place.
Instead, a tiny cluster soon blankets
An entire field;
Our lives commune as one of many,
Not a few,
As we move with and not against the wind.

"My Open Window"

Resting beside an open window,
I am filled with the warmth of The Sun,
Your rays piercing through the Shadows,
Softening my edges and
Filling the Room with the full potential
Of my Light.

Resting beside an open window,
I hang suspended and waiting,
My many facets casting rainbows
Through the clouds.

The winds are shifting.
The clouds are lifting.

As I rest beside this open window
Which is You,
The clouds are only coverings
Of my brilliance.

You are Light
I am Prisma

We are one.
